Mothers Group Facilitator (Sunshine Coast)

Raising Mamas are looking for a Mother’s Group Facilitator to join their team.

  • Are you dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of mothers and their little ones? Raising Mamas invites you to become part of our dynamic team as a Group Facilitator, facilitating our Mother’s Group programs across Maroochydore and Caloundra.

    This role will start as a training/relief position in Term 3, with the opportunity to take over a maternity leave position in Term 4. While primarily focused on the Sunshine Coast, the ability to relieve in North Lakes is highly desirable.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    In this versatile role, you will:

    • Facilitate Programs Across Multiple Locations: Lead and manage our Mother's Group sessions at different venues, ensuring a consistently enriching experience for all attendees.

    • Create a Supportive Environment: Develop a warm, welcoming atmosphere for mothers, fostering community and a sense of belonging.

    • Venue Setup and Management: Oversee the preparation and maintenance of the venue, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment.

    • Support and Collaborate with Presenters: Work closely with our expert presenters to facilitate effective and engaging sessions.

    • Liaise with Venue Staff: Ensure smooth operation by coordinating with venue staff as necessary.

    • Engage in Social Media Promotion: Use social media to promote our programs, capturing and sharing key moments and highlights from the sessions.

    Required Availability:

    Flexible Schedule: Availability to cover sessions from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM Monday-Friday.

    What We’re Seeking:

    • Dedication to Postpartum Support: A genuine desire to assist mothers and babies as they navigate the postpartum period.

    Required Certifications:

    • Must possess or be willing to quickly obtain a current Blue Card.

    • First Aid and CPR certification, or readiness to acquire these certifications.

    • Flexible Availability: Ability to facilitate classes in Caloundra on Wednesdays and Fridays, with the willingness to cover additional sessions in various locations as needed.

    • Strong Relationship Building: Natural skill in providing empathetic support and building rapport with mothers, families, and professionals.

    • Effective Communication: Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with a diverse group of individuals.

    • Digital Proficiency: Confidence in capturing and sharing engaging content on social media, showcasing the essence and impact of our programs.

    • Adaptability: Openness to adapting your schedule and responsibilities as our program grows and evolves.
