Kailah
Founder
Hi! I’m Kailah and I am the founder of Raising Mamas. I am a mother of two girls, have a very supportive husband and two adorable Labradoodles.I am an experienced educator with close to 15 years experience working with mums, infants and children in a range of environments. I hold both a Bachelor of Primary Education and a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. I am deeply passionate about supporting and encouraging mums who are experiencing the ups and downs that come with being a mother.
After my first daughter was born six weeks premature, it was the support I had around me that helped me through the first 12 months post birth.
Raising Mamas for us, is about providing support and connection to the mama community here on the Sunshine Coast. We completely understand how hard it can be. We’ve been there. We love watching our village grow and seeing mamas find their village through our programs.

Chelsea
Buderim Facilitator
Hi, I’m Chelsea, a proud mum of two beautiful girls. I love everything about being a girl mum, especially the pink and sparkles that brighten our days.
With a background in marketing, my passion has always been about creating meaningful connections and sharing stories—whether it’s between a brand and its audience or mother to mother. I truly believe in the power of storytelling to foster connection and build community.
Early motherhood is such a sacred yet challenging time, and for me, meeting like-minded mothers has been life-changing. These connections have shaped me into the mum I am today and reminded me of the strength we find in sharing our journeys.
Joining Raising Mamas means becoming part of a village of women who are so excited to walk alongside you. I’m honored to be part of your motherhood story and can’t wait to hear the unique and beautiful experiences that make up your path. -
Shanelle
Caloundra Facilitator
Hi, I’m Shanelle, a qualified early childhood and primary school teacher and blessed mum to one. I’ve always believed in the power of learning through connection, both in the classroom and in motherhood.
To me, motherhood is a journey of discovery filled with joyful moments, challenges, and opportunities to grow. It’s about celebrating the little wins, embracing the messy parts, and finding beauty in the everyday.
Just like in teaching, I know that asking questions and seeking support is essential for growth. That’s why I’m passionate about creating a space where mums feel safe, supported, and understood. I’m excited to help you build your village and navigate this incredible journey together.
